While some of the wealthy, may benefit from the predicted increase in various new technology products (at least to start with) - famous computer experts like the late Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, Elon Musk etc have expressed concern that autonomous artificial intelligence represents a potential existential threat to the human race (as we know it).
